Nothing better than the feeling of progression, well i really felt it these last 2 days. First of all yesterday i landed the big Arm Jump at the Train Station which is a good 8 foot at least, and i nice new Cat Pass-Precision which was fun.
And today was my official balancing day, i feel my balance is improving tenfold, i spent a lot of the day balancing on rails and precisioning, also Pistolling on rails to improve my leg strength, i can do them on my right leg, not fully on my left leg need to work on that.
Also was improving my diving cat pass precision, i can do them on a table about 6 foot long, and they were nice and clean so i was quite pleased.
Overall a fairly good day for training, had fun :D
Enjoyed todays training alot, was a bit wet but it soon dryed up and we were able to get some good stuff done.
Well major achievement of the day, wallrunning the side of lucy towers car park, up to the first floor, its about 12-13ft and i am veeeeery pleased.
Nailed a nice diving Cat Pass at the magistrates court, which i was pleased about, mainly just did strength and generally training today, not much to comment on really.
Saturdays session started off pretty well, we went down by sports direct and did some climbing, and helped earn the RAF Christmas collection a bit of money, with our "SKILLZ TO PAY DA BILLZ!"
Then moved on to city hall and trained there for a bit, i finally nailed those spinny switch hand things.
Then we went down to Magistrates court and i worked on my precisions loads, i can stick them pretty well now.
Here's one i did, not the best example of stickage though.
Then we went down to the christmas market and had a look around, ended up crippling my finger on a fucked up dive roll.
Went to A & E today for an X ray, relief, its not a break, all bandaged up though =[
Well today was pretty fun, had a good day. First of all i met Craig, Shaun and Cameron at the train station, and headed off into Lincoln, Shaun left us early though because he went to a Roller blading competition.
At the station we met, Neil, Jake, Keiran, Ryan, Stu, Jak, Jamie (and his girlfriend) Joe and Joey. Then we took a trip down to the wall where we met, Kristen and his team who were filming a Documentary about Parkour.
We took them round the usual spots and got some filming down. Mainly stuck around City Hall, Odeon and the College, and were kicked an awful lot as expected with such a large group.
I nailed a nice big Dyno today the gap between the pulling point and grabbing point was about 4 foot, so i was pleased.
Well today was very fun, despite the very wet weather, we still managed to have a good training session. We met new guys Craig and Patrick for the first time today, both seemed really nice guys and we're determined to do their best in learning, and seemed to be picking it up quite quickly, despite the non-ideal conditions to learn in, Me and Shaun were more used to the rain than everyone else, and seemed to be the only ones not complaining about it hehe.
Well todays progress was mainly spent in the underground area of city hall, and partially in Lucy Towers, so we all knuckled down, and worked on silent landings and distance. Also spent a fair bit of time, working on linking stuff together for fluidity and efficiency, just to work on reaction speed and flow.
Switch Hands through the next rail
Switch hands to 360
Lucy Towers training mainly consisted of Quadrupedal training, and warming up, we were kicked pretty quick down to a certain few people walking infront of security cameras. But it was fun while it lasted.
I landed a pretty big arm jump, at least 7 foot, i was tempted to go for the 8 foot level one about a metre away, but i wimped out, Stu Palmer on the other hand nailed it, but thats Stu for you :P
Very slippy, 7 foot Arm Jump, only just managed to stay on, the conditions affected my climb up too
Then we split up into two groups, Me, Stu, Shaun, Wizey, Tumo, and Jack, headed off towards the old end of lincoln near the castle and all around there, found some cool new spots, and got upto some mischeif with a sleeping hobo lmao.
Heheh lmao
THEN!
Me, Tumo and Shaun went to see Casino Royale, well well, the Parkour is awesome, the highlight for me was Seb doing a 10 foot Cat Pass over a big work bench, the actual film was pretty good too, the torture scene was a bit *ouch* the kinda thing only males will know, but when you see someone get hit in the balls, and you kinda feel it your self...well that.
All im saying is, Whip + Balls
All in all a pretty good day, ended in a good old sweet fight with some girls, so not too bad.
